Thank you for showing much love to the previous post published on Sri Lanka Brands with Best Creatives for Halloween 2020

Here I'm back with 4 features of LinkedIn and show you how you can use them for your brands & personal profiles to become more engaging & reach more followers with new content types.

LinkedIn saw a massive spike in user engagement & audience growth in the past couple of quarters. As of November 2020, LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network with 722+ million members in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.

1. Stories

In Late February 2020, there was an article published by a researcher on LinkedIn with the heading "Testing a new conversational format for LinkedIn Stories". This was a major leak to inform that platform was working on a highly used feature on other social media channels such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram & Snapchat.

In September LinkedIn officially broke the news and rolled out that Stories will be a part of the platforms feature. Now LinkedIn users can create their own stories and watch short videos of other users and companies worldwide.

2. Carousel Post

Carousel format is not a new feature to the marketers. As you read above LinkedIn good at adopting *cough* highly successful features on the platform. With this new post format, brands can now interactively share dynamic posts.

3.Polls

One of the greatest and easiest ways to get market & consumer insights is by asking them questions & answers. LinkedIn Polls feature does it perfectly well. This feature was available earlier on the platform & retired in 2014, but somehow it saw the light this year. Needless to say, is it's a great tool for brand engagements.

You can create LinkedIn polls anywhere on the LinkedIn platform, including your professional profile &  brand or company page.

4. Analytics

The core of Digital Marketing is nothing but analytics. LinkedIn has enabled Analytics features for everyone including individual profiles.

With LinkedIn Analytics, Brands & Individuals can now see more detailed data about how others interacted with the shared content.

This feature will help to understand how the content performs on the platform and will make easy optimize your content strategy.

Conclusion

With the latest technologies, LinkedIn presents itself from an entirely new side. The new functions provide you and your brand new possibilities to approach your customers and increase your company's visibility. To trigger your target audience and make your brand more interesting, use the features.
